I found a nice little hack to run OS X on my SE3 AMD 64 bit processor.

Let me get a sneak at that (I'm running a Vista 64 <Intel> rig these days).

I had a Apple II emulator running for a while. I wouldn't mind getting a look at that X OS.

Well, I have two copies running on two PCs and one copy running on my Vista box.

For my P4 2.5 proc machine I only support SSE2 which means I had to run tiger.

For my P4 3.2 proc machine I could support SSE3 which means I can run tiger and leopard. I went w/ 10.5

For my VM I'm running Tiger.

As for 64 bit vista I don't know how well that would work, but VM should be fine since you can emulate 32bit PCs. I actually downgraded to Vista 32 because I was tired of random app support for the 64 bit OS. For the most part I don't notice a huge difference on foreground apps, but Vista 64 was nice for backgroud apps and video encode/decodes.

Jay, I could set you up w/ a DL site, but it might be faster to DL it via bittorrent. I went to isohunt.com and did a search for JAS 10.4.8 and OSX86 10.5 and pulled both files down pretty quick. If you can't find them ping me and I'll post them on my fileshare.

I'll post some screenies when I get a chance. Things have been busy round here w/ a toddler and a baby so my geek time is limited.
