Here I sit, awaiting the fulfillment of my civic duty.

So far, very interesting (as it's my first jury duty ever), and currently living in a smaller community, we get to see a bit more of it's "raw" nature than I think I would if I were serving in a larger county.

It's way more intriguing than any government class I ever suffered through.

Sounds that way. I'm sure the government knew what they were doing when they employed the Baen's swift hand of justice! That, or they're real good at randomly picking names out of a figurative hat.
