There is a new version of academy mod out there. I can't seem to get it from jk2files.com Is there anyone who knows where else to look for it? jediknightii.net has so few recent files, and it is not there. Nor is it at pcgamemods.com.

JA mod 1.4 is up and running on our server. I personally am happy with how it seems to be working.

in the new mod....the bots are different right? like when u stop movin and dont have yur saber out they dont attack you o_O

You may be right about this. You also may be able to challenge the bots to duels if your saber isn't lit.

ya i noticed.....but theres somethin wrong with it ......if i even change the direction im looking they attack me and it also takes em awhile to stop attackin you......o well.....ill just like protect myself till they stop ^^

Crouch before the hapless bot and he will stop in his tracks, inviting you to a staring contest. Nod to him and his head will bob up and down like the glass, watering birds of our flaming youth. Kiss him and he will attack the person standing next to you. Kick him and he will throw his saber at you -- once. Stand in a doorway and give him a hug; he will run across your tummy.

Challenge him and he will fight to his dying breath. ('Course, only a little sweep'll do ya. Takes less than a minute.)

I haven't had the "honor" of playing with the bots yet. However, in saying this, I plan on going in right now.
