Sublime V3 Beta for JK3 Jedi Academy should be in the downloads section soon. Hopefully Jay will have it on his server soon, as well. There is plenty old, and plenty new. I have already found one little glitch, which will be fixed eventually, but it is not a showstopper. It seems to run well...

woah you really outdid yourself! its awesome. I found out how to get to the secret balcony and spawn rodians and rancors thats sweet but I will try not to tell anyone how to get there there are a few minor things messed up with the water maybe you can put permanent glass on the sides of it where you can't enter it, but its not like its impossible to aviod. overall its probably the best jk3 map made by any mappers I've seen so far GOOD JOB!

We actually sort of liked jumping through that water in the main spawning area... but there is one area where the water is a little screwed up, which will get fixed. (That was my 'glitch' above.)

Here are my first impression after the first test run I gave Sublime V3...

- Nice map, as nice as the one before

- Really like the new texture with the withe 'spots' (they look like lights and it's cool), but I was kind of getting a sense of overuse... maybe it's me, but you use it for a lot of things... and I don,t really know why it bothered me, but it did just a little... soh well

- The lighting was adequate But I had to augment my brightness (but it's not solely for this map I did a test with 2 other default maps and the brightness needed to be augmented too, so as I said, the lightning is adequate)

- I didn't find the glitch... but I wasn't really looking for it... so it's really not a showstopper

Bottom line... I like what you did with the place... But you should really try to reuse some of the game texture, cause a pk3 that's 11 MB is a bit too big... I could always go back to doing the Single player part of the game to give you some suggestion on texture that would look great.

Love the new look. I did notice that the server seemed to hang when loading the map on the JK3 server. Has this happened before or do you thing it was a one time issue?

I must agree, there is so much more to this. I spent over 2 hours exploring and trying things out. (I hope that I found everything) I can't wait until this goes live!!!!

Also, I can't wait until jk2files.com sees this. Eye candy, huge areas to explorer and fight in, good frame rates... Kudos Rugg! Kudos!

I hope it doesn't get TOO chaotic... but I imagine it will take a while for the novelty to wear off... As soon as I am relatively sure it doesn't crash servers, then I will send it to jk2 files.

It truly is an awesome piece of work. I didn't think it possible, but it may even blow away the original Sublime for JO. OK, it does blow away the original Sublime. And, since we all know how I feel about that one, you should leave this thread feeling like you're really missing something if you haven't seen it yet. What are you waiting for?

I was especially blown away by the last minute changes to the new arena. What an incredible difference! And in so short a time. You must have spent every waking minute on it trying to beat that "final release" deadline.

On a side note, pay no attention to the FPS here. I was running JK2 and JA at the same time (windowed). That tends to slow JA down a whole bunch.
