In the case of SKYRIM, the modding community saves the game. (NTM, Brynjolf.) With the 31 mods I now have installed, the game finally plays, looks and feels as it should have from the start with only a few exasperating exceptions to the rule. Even first-person hands and third-person feet, etc. are not just bearable, but actually look somewhat realistic with certain body mods and re-textures installed.

At last, not only is the Thieves Guild for thieves only, but The Choice Is Yours in a great many other major and miscellaneous questlines as well. There's also a Quest Eraser available to rid your journal of unwanted entries added before (or even whether) 'The Choice Is Yours' is installed.

Bethesda should use the Nexus to go on a hiring spree. I'd compile a list of the best of the best, but I suppose that's a matter of opinion. (*ahem*...SkyUI, Categorized Favorites, Convenient Horses, Immersive HUD, aMidianBorn Book of Silence....)

What are your must-haves?
