On a related note, Naomi Klein's breakdown (video) of the bailout and associated themes may be of interest to some.
Just as there is good socialism and bad socialism, there is good capitalism and bad capitalism. (Seems a majority opinion.) What has been practiced throughout most of our lifetimes, however, is probably best described as destructive capitalism and the most impressive assessment of that yet seen would be Catherine Austin Fitts' Tapeworm Economics. The Introduction is rather long, but well worth it to get a grasp of the extent of this systemic (global) problem. |
