Sorry Deacon, you were right. I hadn't seen your answer at the bottom of the poem ... however, it HAS to be CLIO because,

A hundred and one (in Roman numerals .... C and I)
by fifty divide, (sandwiching an L between the above 2)
And if a cipher
is rightly applied, (sticking 0 at the end)
The answer is one from nine. (it equals CLIO, which is one of the nine muses ... Calliope, Clio, Erato, Euterpe, Melpomene, Polyhymnia, Terpsichore, Thalia, and Urania).

Here's another:

yes, the ground can run. its called a landslide...and if a plant is pulle dout of the earth, it dies. unless u mean water running.......................that would make it a fish though i guess....so a plant or a fish....if not im stumped.
