I noticed on xfire, that the servers are down, and coming to the site confirms it. At least on the server status page anyways.

Are you guys not running them any longer?

Any thoughts to posting your jka maps on the site, or will people still have to search jk3files.com for them?

I know that vast majority of the files that people can get to from the main page are for the jk2 maps and skins.

I think I have most, if not all of your clan maps for jka, but had to search the jk3 files site to get them for a member of ours earlier this year.

I was just looking at the downloads page again and there's maps under jk2 or jka, but they don't specify which game they're for. So, it's a bit hard to tell someone to download it for jka, to only find out after it's downloaded and the readme file says it's for jk2, or vice versa.

Just food for thought. lol

Thought I'd revive this thread, to see if you guys might be running your servers somewhere, or if you're no longer going to be running any.

Right now, I just have jka installed and think some of my maps might be slightly off, as I've moved them a couple times at least, when I've had to redo my pc. Although it's been quite some time since I've done so. I've gone and replaced them, as I can. At least when I find one is no longer fully working. lol

7 months later and still curious about if there are servers for RJ and if not, will there be? Also see the link on the main page for teamspeak. Do you guys still have a TS channel?

Sorry - I missed this initially. Glad Hammy responded with something. I *do* have the servers available, they just aren't on-line at the moment - but certainly can be. Let me take a peek at that over the next week and see if I can blow the dust off of them. (Yes, there's still TS available, if needed/wanted). Would sure be fun to see a few folks again ...

Alright guys. lol

Wasn't sure, since your forums are as quiet as ours. I usually catch some of my clan mates on Facebook or Skype, when they're available, or should I say not too busy to reply. We do play other games with each other from time to time still, but just haven't done any jka or jk2 in years.

Jaybean, I think I have you on my AIM, but don't know if you ever use it anymore. I still keep mine logged in, but have rarely chatted with anyone on it in a long time. I basically keep it logged in, for when people come out of the woodwork and look to see if any old friends are on. smile.gif

As far as teamspeak is concerned, this is what you have showing for them under the teamspeak page from the main page:

I added it to my bookmarks, and my TS failed to connect. Is there a "new" address for it, or do you not have one running at the moment?

It's been quite some time since your post. How are things coming along? lol

I did take a look Jay, and did have you on my contacts on AIM. Unfortunately, AIM is now shut down for IM.

I am on Skype. I do know I had a couple of you on Yahoo as well, but they shut IM down some time ago.

IF you do not want to have the cost of having a TS server, Discord does everything TS does, and is totally free to use and have channels for voice and such. There is some things that can be unlocked for a little bit of money, but otherwise is free, even to have it on a smartphone. I had to pay about $5 for TS on my iPhone. So, there is a difference there.
