Hello RJ CLAN...this is JohnWalker84. i don't know if anyone remembers but my brothers and I used to play often on your server for JK2. that is Billwalker, DaveWalker, OzWalker and Jimwalker. I was talking to my brother bill and you guys got on the discussion. well just wondering how everyone is doing? EQ Darkside Deacon Hamsta the Gangsta and the like. we have been well ... were on this big counter strike high right nowi guess since DaveWalker is over in iraq, we feel the need to kill the terrorists. Bill and I plan to take a visit on the servers again.. have you guys moved to the new SW game? do you linger around the JK2 server or are you playing academy by now? just wondering cause we walkers all had a great time and always new that friends were on the other side to show us new skills.

EQ has, in one fell swoop, destroyed our only academy! the padawans have no direction, they are meliciously laming innocents and rioting on the very streets of Bespin. Note this this new Walker has no relation to the Red White and Blue Walkers. This is clearly evident from the "having good duels" line. None of my brother walkers actually have good duels with RJ members....Its more like a hack job then off with our heads! Now Unless this is a phantom Walker, that happens to be a good saberist..... ummm yeah i think im going to have to go ahead and...yeah.. doubt that. well i hope to see you all on when i get back in shape.

Its JohnWalker. my hardDrive crashed yesterday , so im waiting on getting a new one and trying to backup important files on the old one. i won't be on till about tuesday thats the 24th i think. it stinks that i wont be around to whoop you all lol ...yha right... but these things happen when you have no name hardDrives.

Sorry but i don't understand one thing. i dont understand how im supposed to open the assets.pk3 file with winzip. the files are currently not zipped so how would i go about doing this??? everytime i select "open with" then i select "Winzip", the file ends up zipping itself within winzip. you also told me will "in-game" to remane the assets file. what does that do? i don't understand that point. its funny, i read all these tutorials, have a basic understanding of how to skin, yet i cant start it cause i don't know how to transfer what i need from the .pk3 file. this is driving me nuts. lol if you could please write down some steps to do this, i would be greatly appreciative.

Problem fixed. it seemed that once i was forced to hard boot my pc from the multiplayer menu freezing up, the mouse accel dissapeared. the game is much more enjoyable now .......however another problem remains. i have no multi! when i click the multiplayer button in the main menu, it sticks when it gets to the title page...that is a blue background with the words jedi knight jedi academy written on it. i dont know what the deal is but i think that after i complete the game, a reinstall is due and maybe find an update. anyone see this prob before.

ps. jk3 single player ROCKS! the moves are great the motions are smooth whats not to like??

i just purchased jk3 today. yes i dropped the 50 beans but i needed it. anyways i love the game except one fatale drawback which is really annoying me: the mouse is, for some reason, set to force accel when i move it too fast. it makes no sense! my settings outside the game are stock: no accel that is. my other games dont have this problem nor does jk2. i know RJ is not a large participant of JK3 but if anyone could give me a hand. also i was wondering why RJ plays more jk2 than jk3? well ill be back to see if i get help. im going to suffer and continue with th egame for now.

Thank you very much. This is a much better start for me than before. A lot of it seems learn as you go but i dont mind that cause i want to slowely progress and learn all the ins and outs to become an excellent skinner and modeler. i figure well if im such a crummy saberer lol id might as well do something cool individualistic with the game. im going to see what i can do with this and what to purchase and such. ill write you back on what i dig up.

Ok, i have never skinned before in my life. just skimming through tutoriuls to get a basic understanding. im still hazy about it all. don't have a program to skin or to model... whats the difference?. now i just read that i need a program to look at what im doing. its all weird. So, i read that you use Paint Shop 7.Should i Purchase this? what else do i need? where do i purchase what i need? i need to pool information cause my B-day is the 16th and i told my mother this is the one thing i need and want very much. Though this is adressed to Beast, anyone with input, pplease write cause im like a 3 year old trying to play chess in the dark and without touching the pieces.

hmm what just happened i dont know oh well. im going to try and make it. i think baen is correct on making the date for a weekday. you can get a much greater attendence that way. just need dates times passwords and money. the last one is optional. hope to see you all an may the walkers be with you.
