A great read - and isn't nice to see an endorsement that isn't just having to do with someone being the lesser of 2 evils?
QUOTE(WaPo Article) But Mr. Obama's temperament is unlike anything we've seen on the national stage in many years. He is deliberate but not indecisive; eloquent but a master of substance and detail; preternaturally confident but eager to hear opposing points of view. He has inspired millions of voters of diverse ages and races, no small thing in our often divided and cynical country. We think he is the right man for a perilous moment. QUOTE isn't nice to see an endorsement that isn't just having to do with someone being the lesser of 2 evils? Indeed. It's nice to finally see a candidate that doesn't appear to represent that choice despite accusations that he "doesn't stand up to his own party". (He does when necessary.) Most everything he proposes constitutes a 'Zax bypass'. QUOTE Yes, we have reservations and concerns.... But we also have enormous hopes. Not without its criticisms, but that's good, too. Not only does Obama listen to his advisors, he appears to listen to his critics, as well. Highly unusual in itself. (In a good way.) |

The most amazing was David Brooks talking in adoring terms about Obama's intellect....
