John - You are more than welcome to join the Colloquium. However, I urge you to first read the Jedi Primer that has been posted in this same forum section, and get very familiar with it, as the Inaugural Colloquium will be covering some fairly advanced techniques. Thus, I believe you would benefit most greatly if you were to first get familiar with the Jedi Primer.

I will send you the password shortly.

Well... sadly... I won't b able to make it to the first RJ colloqium... sad.gif

One of my 'cousin' (well the son of my aunt)... had a car accident on Tuesday night and he is still at the hospital hanging between life and death... so I'm going to see him... I don't really know when I'll be coming back... hope it won't be too long... I just want to make sure he will be OK... 'cause it's keeping my brain a bit busy right now and as time passes I can't seem to be able to think about anything else.

See ya guys and gals

Alright, based on the good turnout of the first Saber Colloquium, another one will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2004 at **1:00PM** EST.

- Please let me know if you intend to come, via a private message.

Hey guys, if I don't get any more RSVPs, I guess we'll have to cancel the Colloquium this Saturday. So far, I've only heard from one person, so I can only assume that no one wishes to come, or 1PM on Saturday is a horrible time for most of you.

Let me know which is the case, so I can plan accordingly. smile.gif

Ahh .. but be careful ...

If we're going to advertise these things on the front of the web page as happening events, then they should.

Better to have the event this time, then choose to collect names and then post the news after you have a goodly amount to speak of for the next one. Use the forums to draw up the invitation, then we'll add the News once it feels solid.

I will also do my best, though I do find Saturday afternoons in general (esp in advance) to be a bit hard to commit to -- which is why I found putting the old RJThursdays on a 'dead week night' to be pretty attendable for everyone.

Maybe the next one after this should shoot for a weekday (early) evening. (?)

Yes, yes. I will try to make this one as well.

Saturday is a little inconvenient for me, too, as it is generally spent running errands, doing chores about the house or just going out, having a blast and shaking off the work week.

Weekdays, otoh, are a bummer. wink.gif

hmm what just happened i dont know oh well. im going to try and make it. i think baen is correct on making the date for a weekday. you can get a much greater attendence that way. just need dates times passwords and money. the last one is optional. hope to see you all an may the walkers be with you.
