Hi all,

I just wondered with which "technology" or web programming langage you build the site.

Is it PHP - MySQL, ASP - MSSQL, etc. ???

Cause like the title says... I'm a bit handy with the PHP and MySQL langage... so I'm offering a bit of my time if it can help you get all the site done faster. Or maybe work on some improvement you already thought of.

Well drop something here if you like the idea.

Big Liz uses PHP/MySQL for News and Shoutbox and XHTML/CSS For the rest of the page. It should validate 100% and uses no tables for layout!

Well I have to admit you impress me Liz.

You really don't use table for layout. By the way I know my way around PHP-MySQL, but using CSS is kind of unexplored in my case. So I assume you are using CSS "function" to layout the site.

Well if you're willing to train me a little in the ways of the CSS...

Then I may be of a greater help... and as I said... I'm prepared to offer the RJ a bit of my time... so let me know.

Another thing: Maybe we should rename this thread "Improvement to site" and we could use it to talk about the site and the improvement we see could make it better. I don't have one right now, but I could think about it

I was wondering if you could change something on the forum... by something I mean in how it work, not a post.

Cause I was thinking that when we'll start having a lot of post... it will be easier to follow the threads if the new reply would show up first (order the replies by date but in decreasing order (most recent post first, second most recent, second... and so on).

What do you think???

It's me again

I don't want to be knowed as a critic... but I have another thing about the site

I was thinking about the e-mail adresses. I don't know if it's that good but we should get the e-mail adresses of all the RJ on the site, so people could reach us.

OK, I know that we can do it in the forums, but maybe, just maybe, if we could put them as a link on our name in the About page.

What do you think about that???

By the way, some of my ideas may be wrong, and I don,t really know about this one, so don't be shy about replying

NO idea is a bad idea. I'm glad your putting your 2 cents in. As soon as we can 'wake the dragon from his sleep' ... err talk to Liz, we'll implement some of the changes you've suggested.
