I'm going to be a part of this game, one way or another. It feels absolutely necessary.

More web nonsense. I need to hire someone to use the internet for me.

To be blunt, I haven't read even half of those listed works, but I voted anyhow. I like Poe very much, and a tribute is definitely due. He wasn't as weird as Lord Byron, though. He was a creeper.

If my tear ducts weren't so muscular, you would all make me cry. But they are, so I won't.

And so.. it seems that I am the slowest of us all to realize I'm older. thumbup.gif I appreciate all your comments! They were very nice, especially the spelling of Wookiee comment.

I must apologize for my absence lately. I know in the past I've dropped out of sight but I think it's almost been 3 months or so shocking.gif As you must have guessed, I've been a busy old coot. I am co-writing a script with my good friend, as well as doing art for two different comics. In addition to this, I am recording music with a band and working full-time. Yes, it's more than a mouthful. Yes, I have a big mouth. smile.gif So again, I apologize for being a ghost, but I do miss you all. I will make a genuine effort to at least visit the forums more and insult JayBaen to my fullest ability. And if I have time, I'll slay Ruggiero and gurgle at Hamstar while whispering sweet nothings to Infinite through PMs. wub.gif

I mean it - you folks are all right.

-Tyr

P.S. If you're lucky, I might post some of the artwork I've been scribbling. cool.gif

I got a chance to play the demo since last, and it is VERY promising. The pestering voice of the Dark Side whispers to us all, even to this day. Never has it had such appeal as with a saber in hand and lumps of hurling metal at foes! I am indeed excited for some storyline now... and with the Furby's review, it should probably be okay. happy.gif

And so.. the hiccup was scared into reparation by the Baen himself. Bravo. What keeps an old Coot busy these days? Artwork. Loads of it. Inking, penciling, painting - the works. Helping my budget? Not yet. But my sanity is saved. I don't know how many of you know it, but I am an artist. (And am STILL gonna upload a drawing of us savvy Jedi someday SOON laugh.gif ) I create graphic novels and illustrations. However, I work two jobs and thusly draw up a storm whenever I can manage. As for gaming... here's the current list:

Call of Duty 4
Bioshock (same sitch as you Jay, haha)
Mass Effect
Counter-Strike: Source (occasionally)

I'm getting excited for the new Red Alert game, and of course Force Unleashed (presuming they don't blow it again). I don't game as much as I used to in the before time, but I am up for a romp in something new if it'll bring us crabs out to play. Something new... or even the old sabers wink.gif Either way it's incredibly nice to know you blokes are still kicking and screaming somewhere in the Free World. I say... perhaps we can attempt another LIVE meeting again? I seemed to have missed out on the giggles last time cause of various inconvenient reasons, but I'd like to slap some of your faces fo sho. Ehh.. that's all for now.

[Psst... in case I raised an eyebrow or 3, here's a link to random works I've been active enough to upload (unfortunately nothing new yet sad.gif ) Artwork Enjoy!]

No. However, maybe we could have one? I propose a post-New Years par-tay. Wine for oldins, sparkling cider for the minors. Beatings for ALL.

Alright. Well, I guess that didn't work so well on a short notice. However, I think we should have a pre-Christmas party or something. You know, for OUR family before we get all fat and spoiled by our OTHER families. What do you guys think?

I believe that we've all hidden quite long enough. Depending on schedules, I think we should chisel out a hangout this SUNDAY, DECEMBER 16, sometime in the afternoon. What say you, swine? Cause I'm gonna be there, and I have a feeling an ankle biter will be fast on my trail.

We're all around here, in our own special way. Some of the younger Jedi have become Blue Glowies well before their time. Amateurs... it's nice to see an old face, though, Wolf. We were just talking about having a get together to which I'm sure you're invited.

A ninjookiee would disgrace the organization... but would certainly be good for a laugh. *gurgle*gurgle*

The game lost all interest from me the day they ruined it and attempted to copy WoW... but failed. I will not play this game anymore.

Right. I'm glad a whole slew of you showed up! Very non-Colloquium like, but a fairly fun evening nonetheless. I was glad to GO EASY on you guys that night, but next time will not pass smoothly.

Yeah, future Colloquiums will be earlier, it's just that I have an awkward schedule this Sunday. However, I *REALLY* want to start this up again. And plus, I might just miss you guys a little. I appreciate any and all efforts to make it.

Well, seeing as 2 hours went by and no one showed up (save for DarcWolf), I have come to the conclusion that either no one read the message, or they didn't have enough time to attend. Regardless... simple solution: Grand Re-opening of the Colloquium this Sunday evening! Bring your sabers, and meditate at least an hour before showing up. I can only show up at 9 the earliest, but I WILL be there again, and waiting for you sprats. I plan for the Colloquium to last about an hour or so, but it would be nice to see some familiar (and unfamiliar) faces. So again, Grand Re-Opening of the Colloquium this Sunday, May 13, starting officially at 9 pm. I look forward to killing all of you!

I am planning to host a Colloquium for those interested TOMORROW, Monday (May 06) at about 6 pm. I shall be waiting around in the server, hoping some of you sprats show up so I can say a bunch of words at you, and occasionally slay you. That is all. Hope to see you there!

Alright... it was a powerful and DANGEROUS night at the retirement castle. Moreso than the Force led me to believe. However, I am ready and willing to attack you sprats tonight! I will be on the server around >>8 PM<<. And I will NOT leave the RJ server until someone I recognize shows up, and loses to me sufficiently. That is all.

I wish to hog you, but seeing as it's 11pm and I'm replying, I agree with the Sunday shooting. Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters and my friend's Debut CD album gig does take a healthy chunk of Tyrannutime... but I SHOULD be available around the 11ish time.
